Frequently asked questions

What is ScaleEdge?

ScaleEdge is a free trading platform with live charts for forex, crypto, stocks, indices and commodities, a prop firm challenge simulator that applies real firms' published rules, weekly prop firm fee data, a strategy backtester, a trade journal, an economic calendar, a news radar and free courses, plus honest comparisons of brokers, prop firms and crypto perpetual exchanges.

Is ScaleEdge really free?

Yes. Charts, backtester, journal, calendar, courses and calculators are free. Everything on the site is free to use. We earn a commission if you open an account with a partner through our links, at no extra cost to you.

Where does the market data come from?

Prices and candles come from real market feeds (Binance for crypto, Yahoo Finance and TradingView data for forex, stocks, indices and commodities). Nothing on the site is simulated. When data is missing we show that instead of inventing a number.

Can I practise without risking money?

Yes. The paper-trading simulator uses live prices with a virtual balance, and the backtester lets you test a rule on years of real history before you risk anything.

Does ScaleEdge give financial advice?

No. Everything is educational. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of loss and most retail accounts lose money. Only trade money you can afford to lose.

How does the certificate work?

Finish the Strategies School quizzes with 80% or more and you can claim one certificate with your name and a QR code. Anyone can scan it and verify it on our site.

Educational content, not financial advice. Trading involves a high risk of loss.
